It is officially summer time in the 'scow however the weather missed the memo. It has been freezing here, but luckily my newly planted tomato plants are holding strong! Finals week wasn't to terrible and my grades came out relatively well. I started a new job, well kind of yesterday. I am still working at the Kibbie dome but the branch that handles all the Kibbie stuff also has a department that handles conference planning and other event planning. So I am helping the events coordinator arrange upcoming conferences. The only down side is, the biggest conference of the year happens to fall on the week in June I had selected to go home and so that will no longer be happening. In fact I am not sure when I will even get to go home, yeah it's very sad. This job is going to look amazing on my resumes and the experience is priceless. I will also be running a very events this summer, my boss is taking vacation and so that leaves me in charge... crazy.
My roommate is gone for the summer and while I am very very sad she is gone I am looking forward to living by myself, it should be pretty nice, plus my closest friends are about a 30 second walk away!
So begins my summer in the 'scow and my last summer of college.... we don't talk about that though
