Just trying to take it one day at a time

Midterms are officially over at the University of Idaho and I couldn't be happier. I actually only had one but the tension on campus was enough to drive anyone crazy. I cannot believe that October is half over, this year is flying by. However at the same time so much has happened already that is seems at times the days are creeping by. My friend Whitney got married in Vernal, Utah last weekend so I got to go down for that, see her family and my mom. We also missed the wedding however due to an incorrect mileage calculation. It snowed a little, Utah was very cold. I got to do some shopping as well which was nice, all in all it was a good weekend, a nice little escape from Moscow.
My friend Stephani had her second child today. I feel old. She sent me a picture of him, he is absolutely adorable! I was just sad that I couldn't be there, but such is life I guess.
Work has been pretty calm lately, which is just a cover for the fun to have. The next month before thanksgiving break is going to be nuts. We still have three home football games, a few volleyball and the first basketball games starting the beginning of November. We have all new coaches for both men's and women's this year and I am excited to see what happens!
I got everything completed for my Fulbright scholarship, now I just have to wait and see what happens. The first round is over in January and the winners are announced in May, the suspense it killer. I have decided though that if I do not get the scholarship I am going to pass on grad school, I just need a break. That does mean that I will have to find a job which is scary and slight unnerving. I guess I have to grow up sometime, aka in the next 9 months!
