My junior year of college I had the opportunity to backpack through Europe for two weeks. It was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. I learned so much about myself and the world outside of the United States. I had to learn how to navigate in very different cities and also learned no matter where you go there are commonalities in everyone.
One of my favorite places I visited was the palace of Versailles just outside of Paris. It was breathtaking. It is amazing to see a place with such historical significance.
I have always had an interest in the French Revolution and Marie Antoinette. Sophia Coppola's movie and also Charles Dicksons "A Tale of Two Cities" top my favorites list. I really enjoyed this day trip and look forward to visiting it again someday.
